How to Make the Perfect Bouquet | Blush Floral Design

Here’s a blog I have posted previously on how a bouquet is made – very topical at this time of year with Mother’s Day and coming into wedding season! Bex from Blush Floral Design is a very talented florist and I thought it would be a good idea to show off her talent. I’ve tried many a time to put together a nice bouquet or arrange some flowers in a vase, and can never make it look as good as Bex!

I am super excited to be doing a Mothers Day flower workshop with Bex so that I can learn some skills and share them with all of you.

I popped round to the Blush Floral Design headquarters in Farnham, Surrey, and photographed the process of Bex putting together one of the bouquets for a styled wedding shoot I photographed.

I’m very pleased that my images were been featured on the ‘So You’re Getting Married‘ wedding blog, where you can read the full article here.

Bex used flowers that are currently really popular and in season:

Sweet Avalanche roses,
Cream Avalanche roses,
Apricot stocks,
Silver brunia,
Pastel pink ranunculus,
White tulips,
Rosemary

Here are the images I took that show the different stages of making a wedding bouquet…

Thanks so much for reading my blog. Keep an eye out for the story about my workshop… coming soon!

If you would like to discuss any photography requirements you may have, Contact Me, I’d love to hear from you.
