Becky & Steve’s Summer Wedding at RHS Rosemoor Gardens, Devon

I’m thrilled to finally share with everyone Becky & Steve’s wedding photos.

Becky and Steve met……..

….Nearly 10 years ago in their home town of Barnstaple on a night out – Becky recalls ‘There’s an embarrassing and funny story in that Steve started winking at me from across the dance floor and at first I was thinking who is this guy, but then we got chatting and the rest is history!!!’

Steve proposed to Becky in St James’ park, London – her favourite location as a child as she grew up in London.

The ceremony was at St Michael & All Angels Church, Torrington and then we went onto Rosemoor Gardens in Torrington, Devon

Becky and Steve chose Torrington as that was the location of the church where Becky’s parents got married. There are also some strong family ties to the area as that was where her mum grew up and her grandfather was the first GP there as well as mayor so it felt right to get married in that church.

For the reception they chose Rosemoor gardens, RHS – a place that they just immediately fell in love with when looking at locations.

The overall style of the wedding was vintage with lots of Pastel colours…

The bridesmaids were all in the same dresses, but in different pastel colours which looked really good and it was a nice touch that they didn’t all look exactly the same!

They had several vintage vehicles, including an old bus for transportation of the guests, but the real star of the show was a one off vintage Rolls Royce Phantom for the bride and groom, which was just spectacular.

The highlights of the day were….

Becky and Steve did a wonderful first dance which they had clearly practised very well – that then turned into a flash mob style dance involving some of their guests which was great fun!!

Becky’s highlight of the day was definitely seeing Steve’s face when he first caught sight of her walking down the aisle – it’s the same for him too! She also loved getting ready in the morning with all of her sisters around her and the anticipation of the day ahead.
