The Happy Couple

Alicia and Ben met at a school disco and Ben proposed in a Tipi on a surprise holiday to Cornwall!
Here’s a pic from their engagement shoot I did for them at Cannizaro Park in Wimbledon 🙂

Festival, Boho Wedding Theme…

The theme was very relaxed, festival style with haybales for sitting on and a large bell tent with fairy lights. As Alicia’s family is from South Africa, she had some South African flowers in with her flower arrangement which looked gorgeous. I LOVED the Bride and Bridesmaid’s gorgeous flower garlands in their hair – they looked so pretty and boho.

Venue

The ceremony was at Holybourne Village church and the reception was held in a field in Alton Convent, where Alicia went to school. Alton Convent is set within around 30 acres and has various areas that can be hired for occasions such as weddings. It really was perfect.

Highlight of the Day

Ben and Alicia are keen canoers, and to my delight they decided to go for a quick paddle straight after getting hitched, in the pond next to the church! Obviously, that created some brilliantly fun photos – luckily nobody fell in!

We then went for a stroll to get some photos in a stunning field up the road with gorgeous views – it always helps to know a local farmer – thanks Alicia!!

I had the lovely Antonina Mamzenko with me second shooting at the wedding, who’s a brilliant storyteller and helped me shoot some video for their Wedding Video Fusion Film – watch this space and I will post here when it’s finished!
