Gemma & Lee’s Intimate December Wedding – Alton Registry Office, Hampshire

Gemma and Lee have been together since school, and have two gorgeous children together, so finally decided to tie the knot in a very small intimate wedding at Alton Registry Office, with just their parents, two children and grandparents (not even their siblings were invited!).

They told me it was just about their love for each other, and that’s all that mattered. They didn’t want to make a big fuss or have too many people there, it was just about their little family.

I was very honoured to be there to capture their wedding. I took them down to Alton Pond after the ceremony for some family photos and some of just the two of them, before they went for dinner at The George pub in Alton. It was a beautifully sunny but cold December day.

Suppliers:

Gemma got her dress from the Bridal Centre in Farnborough, and her daughter’s dress from Monsoon. The flowers were from eBay, their son’s suit came from a charity shop and Lee got his suit from Next.

The registry office at Alton is another little gem, simple and tiny, but home to a beautiful ceremony room and a lovely little space outside for some photos.
