Ginny Marsh – Another Photographic Qualification!
I’m pleased to announce I have got my first Professional Photographic qualification (other than my degree in Commercial Photography) – I have been awarded a Licentiateship in Photography from the Society of Wedding and Portrait Photographers (SWPP)!! I can now put LSWPP after my name!! 🙂
This was after I submitted 20 wedding images to the ‘Mentor Me’ program for a critique, and got the following response:
“Thankyou for submitting your images for mentoring. Occasionally however when one of our mentoring team initially reviews a member’s submission they recommend that the panel be forwarded for immediate consideration for qualification. This has been the case with your submission and we are therefore delighted to inform you that the images submitted have been accepted as being of a professional standard and demonstrates your ability to create images of excellence and Licentiate of The Society of Wedding and Portrait Photographers has been recommended… Many congratulations on your achievement Ginny. We look forward to seeing more of your work in the future”
I don’t know how many members of the general public will recognise this professional qualification but hopefully it will open some doors for me and show people that I’m trustworthy 🙂
p.s. sorry for the poor quality image folks, I should have scanned my certificate but I’m too impatient so I took the photo on my iPhone!
