Judy and Will’s Autumn Wedding at Froyle Park in Surrey

The Happy Couple…

Judy and Will worked together, but didn’t actually start dating until Judy left in 2003, and have been together ever since! Will proposed in April this year as they were drinking cocktails at the swim up bar in St Lucia. Judy has a small business making things such as patchwork quilts, cushions and traditional rag dolls. Together they buy and renovate/redevelop property. They live with two lovely pet sprocker spaniels, Megan and Darcy!

The wedding theme…

Navy Blue, Burgundy and Ivory with plenty of candles and fairy lights to add some atmosphere/sparkle. The wedding ceremony was a late 3:30pm one so we didn’t have much daylight as it was just after the clocks went back! Judy and Will wanted the day to be pretty relaxed and for everyone to have a great time and a good laugh.

The Venue…

Froyle Park is a magnificent Jacobean manor dating back to 1620. It has classic elegance, making it the perfect venue for your dream wedding. With availability for exclusive use and utter privacy for up to 300 guests, the grand country manor house and its extensive grounds offers one of the south of England’s most picture perfect setting.

Set in the quaint village of Upper Froyle, just an hour away from London, as you make your way through the gates and up the stately tree-lined path, you will be met with the splendor of this setting. Surrounded by 80 acres of glorious countryside and steeped in history, the grand Manor House sits proudly overlooking the spectacular views. From its striking oak panelled Great Hall to the spectacular Grand Ballroom, Froyle Park offers a variety of backdrops for any occasion.

Highlight of the Day…

Judy and Will didn’t want a ‘top table’, so decided to put a place setting for themselves at three different tables and swapped after every course! This meant that Charlie (my second photographer) and I sat and ate with the guests and swapped with them at every table! This was particularly handy as their speeches were between courses, and meant that Charlie and I couldn’t miss anything. Judy and Will had sparklers for the guests to create a “guard of honour” which was fun to photograph and film! After that their first dance was choreographed to an Elvis song and looked brilliant!
