Lyn & Andrew’s English Vintage Garden Party Wedding

I was recently lucky enough to photograph the wedding of Lyn and Andrew, who got married in Frensham church and then had a beautiful English vintage country style wedding reception in their back garden, complete with croquet on the lawn! I fell in love with the setting, because they live in beautiful woodland and gardens, teaming with wildlife, very near to one of my favourite wedding venues, Cain Manor.

Lyn has experience in planning weddings and events, so the attention to detail was just wonderful. The flowers were made by the lovely Bex from Blush Floral Design and made the perfect finishing touch.

Lyn and Andrew didn’t have a wedding cake, because when Lyn was a little girl she knew a woman who made fabulous wedding cakes and Lyn told her when she grew up and got married, she would only have a wedding cake made by her; unfortunately she’s no longer with us and Lyn decided if she couldn’t have her old friend make her wedding cake, nobody would!

The entertainment was done by a fabulous school Jazz band made up of a bunch of extremely talented 14-17 year olds, with a very similar sound to Michael Buble.
