Emily & Owen’s Richmond Wedding Reception with Fabulous Hats

Emily and Owen moved to Boston, USA, a few years ago, where they had their little boy and got married, but obviously wanted to have a big party back in the UK for their friends and family. So they got all dressed up and had a wedding reception at The Marlborough in Richmond, Surrey, which is very close to Richmond Park, and we went for a short walk to the beautiful Terrace Gardens just at the end of the road for some photos.

It wasn’t traditional wedding attire – Emily wore a beautiful vintage style short lace dress and Owen wore a smart modern blue suit. They didn’t have bridesmaids or ushers as such, but fabulous hats were a theme for the main wedding party! It was a really nice relaxed day, and I was only there for a couple of hours taking photos (because there was no ceremony to photograph) – they just wanted some group photos and nice photos of themselves, their friends and family – but after I left they had a fabulous meal and partied into the night!
