Suzy & Haydn’s Spring Wedding at Best Western Frensham Pond Hotel, Surrey

The first wedding I photographed this season was for Suzy & Haydn, who got married at Best Western Frensham Pond Hotel in Farnham, Surrey, on a typical spring day in March. It wasn’t very warm, but the sun and rain made an appearance for a very eventful day! They chose our half day wedding package and added a second photographer, to get maximum coverage in a short space of time!

Suzy & Haydn are such a lovely couple, and I just received a lovely review from them, which I’m so pleased about: “We’re so pleased with our wedding photos – Ginny did an amazing job on the day and she gave us very helpful advice in the planning stages too. Monica, my 2nd photographer, also got a fantastic review from them! They had over 130 guests and were worried there might not be enough time in just half a day to capture pictures of all the guests, which was really important to them, so while I went off to take photos of Suzy and Haydn down the road at the beach of Frensham Great Pond, Monica stayed behind to capture all the fun that the guests were having!

Suzy & Haydn had a brilliant red, black and white gaming theme with one of the biggest sweet stalls I’ve ever seen at a wedding! One of my favourite wedding suppliers made the cake – Yve’s Cakes – which had some big dice on top to match the theme! Suzy also thoroughly recommends her hair and makeup artists – hair by Nicky McKenzie (and makeup by Ros Van Dyke whose details are also on the website).
