Wedding Albums by Ginny Marsh Photography
So, I’ve photographed your wedding and sent you the login details so you can see your fabulous wedding images in your online gallery (yay!)… What now?
Ultimately I believe your images should be displayed in a fabulous album or on the wall!
Whether you’ve already paid for an album with your wedding package, or would now like to buy a wedding album after your wedding, it’s a fantastic way to display your images and pass down generations to your children and grandchildren. You may have a digital frame displaying all your images, but technology will only be replaced and upgraded in years to come and there’s always a chance your digital files will either be lost or become obsolete.
Luckily I have a range of high-quality gorgeous wedding albums available that can be personalised to you and your wedding style.
How to choose your wedding album and what to do:
First, you’ll need to select your favourite images for your wedding album!
Here’s what I need to design your album:
All my storybook albums come with 40 pages and 80 images included. This is the amount that I believe can easily tell the story of your day and display the best highlights of your wedding. The Matted albums come with 20 pages and 40 images, as the pages are a lot thicker and more work goes into creating them. Most wedding clients find it difficult to narrow it down from the hundreds of beautiful photos and end up adding extra images! I just charge £5 per extra image.
You will need to select your favourite images in your gallery by clicking on the star icon next to any image you’d like to include in your album. Once you’ve selected all your favourites, go to the favourites tab at the top – there may be a few hundred in there! You can then un-favourite any you don’t mind missing out, especially if you’ve got some very similar, to whittle it down. Alternatively, we can always add extra pages if you can’t narrow it down!
Main bits I need:
- Your selection of images
- Which album you’d like (if not paid for already, or if you’d like to upgrade)
- Which image (if any) you’d like on the front cover
- Which material you’d like either on the cover or spine
- If you’d like text on the front cover and how you’d like it to appear*, e.g. your names and then the date underneath? *Please note there may be an extra charge for this, depending on which album you choose, and this option isn’t available on every album.
Fine Art Matted Album
Starting at £750 these albums are not a budget option, but are just pure class! The Matted album offers the best of both worlds, combining the full flush mounted edge-to-edge pages of the Classic album, with traditional bevel-cut apertures. This album has different mount options and a full choice of covers. Smaller duplicates can be produced from the same artwork, on either photographic or printed paper.
Included with the base price of £750:
- 20x30cm (A4) album
- 20 pages, 40 images
- Choice of leatherette or acrylic cover with/without an image
- Photographic, Fine Art or Matte laminated pages
Upgrade options: Genuine Leather cover, Stylised matching box, extra images and pages, smaller parent albums
Remember, the main bits I need are:
- Your selection of images (ideally as favourites in your wedding gallery)
- Which album you’d like (if not paid for already, or if you’d like to upgrade)
- Which image (if any) you’d like on the front cover
- Which material you’d like either on the cover or spine (this is best chosen in-person at my studio)
- If you’d like text on the front cover and how you’d like it to appear*, e.g. your names and then the date underneath? *Please note there may be an extra charge for this, depending on which album you choose, and this option isn’t available on every album.
What’s Next?
Once I’ve got all this info, I’ll get started designing your album! I’ll design the page layout depending on how I think it flows best and tells the story of your wedding. When I’ve finished, I’ll e-mail you a link to the design, and you can approve it or tell me if you’d like to make any changes. It’s your album and I want to make sure you’re 100% happy with how it looks. Once it’s all approved it can be sent off to print and can take between 4-6 weeks depending on the manufacturer and time of year.
I will let you know when your album has arrived and is ready to collect from me in Farnham, GU9 0PX. If you’d like me to post it via Royal Mail Special Delivery or ParcelForce there will be a postage charge – please ask!
To see the options in person, please arrange an album meeting with me, or come and see me at one of the wedding fairs I’m attending, to see the full range.
Many thanks, if I’ve missed any info or if you’d like to know anything else just ask!
