The Perfect Wedding Anniversary Gift – why not get a Little Black Boudoir Book?

I just had to share this! I asked one of my boudoir clients if she could write an account of her recent boudoir photo shoot so I could show women the point of view from one of my clients. She’s given me such wonderful feedback, which is what makes my job so worthwhile!! I’m only allowed to show a few pics because her identity is secret to keep the surprise…

“I saw some of Ginny’s boudoir images on her website and knew I wanted to have some images like that in the Little Black Book for my hubby for our 15^th wedding anniversary. Her pictures were just so sexy and glamorous and really classy, not tacky or sleazy. I don’t think many people know about boudoir photography or get the wrong impression which is such a shame.

I’m now in my early 40’s and everything is not as firm and pert as it used to be so I wanted to get these done to remind myself just how sexy I still am. And give my lovely hubby a very big and sexy surprise on our wedding anniversary!

So I talked to Ginny about the different packages and decided to book the Grand Boudoir Package,  so we set the date before I could change my mind!

Planning what to wear was great fun and buying lots of sexy undies without the OH suspecting, felt quite exciting. I picked up two great corsets for under £20 on eBay and treated myself to some new undies from my fav shop, Bravissimo – any excuse. I also had a lot of things already that I could use. I had a new long evening dress that I adore and hadn’t had a chance to wear yet so that was part of my boudoir wardrobe. I wanted to sneak away one of my hubby’s fav work shirts and one of his ties that matched one of the underwear sets, to really make him smile. Like all men, he loves suspenders so the corsets, suspenders, and fishnets were a must! Ginny also has a brilliant ‘prop’ bag and her long black velvet evening gloves, some sparkly jewellery, and fur shrug featured to create some really sexy and beautiful images.

On the day I was a little nervous but excited. I had to wait for OH to leave for work before I bundled all my shoes, undies and accessories into a bag and headed for the Hotel de Vie. Having professional hair and make-up does make all the difference (first time I have ever worn false eye lashes and fake nails!) and it really helps to make you look and feel the part. As soon as I got to the hotel and had a coffee and some choccie, I felt relaxed and was keen to get started. Ginny is great at putting you at ease and telling you what poses to strike to get the best shots. The photo shoot time flew by. Delayed slightly by my misbehaving false nails pinging off and me not being able to do anything up with them on! Why are suspenders so difficult to do up? But Ginny is on hand to assist if you need her to and was there to help lace up my corsets.

After a sneak peek image later that night I couldn’t wait to see the final images. The suspense was killing me.

WOW when they came through as a fun video to preview I just couldn’t stop looking at myself. I looked amazing!!! Ginny you’re a total boudoir genius. Now I usually hate seeing pics of myself but these boudoir images are brilliant and have given my confidence a real boost. I’ve watched the video about 10 times already and just can’t stop watching it!
