Boudoir Parties and Hen Do’s with Ginny Marsh Photography

Ginny Marsh Photography has designed a boudoir party package with Hen Do’s and birthdays in mind for women of all ages (must be over 18) to have a mini boudoir experience each, surrounded by their closest friends.

What is Boudoir Photography?

Boudoir shoots are a celebration of beauty, sexiness and sexuality, and are a whole lot of fun! It’s empowering for women and is a huge self-confidence boost. It doesn’t matter what age, shape or size you are – there are clever ways of hiding the lumps and bumps you don’t want to see, and flattering poses to make you look and feel amazing. Our job isn’t just to create beautiful images, it’s to boost your confidence and improve your self-image. Whether you keep these images private for yourself, give them to your partner to make his/her eyes pop out, or post them on facebook for everyone to see, it’s up to you!

What happens at a boudoir party?

You and your girlfriends will arrive at Hotel de Vie in Farnham (or we can come to your home / location of choice) at around 4pm on the chosen day and you will be greeted with a bottle or two of bubbly (depending on the number of girls involved). We’ll stick some girl-power music on the iPod (Spice Girls not compulsory!) and get the party started! Each of you will get a makeover, and then take it in turns to get a few photos taken with me (fully directed by me to compliment your age and body shape). The party will last approximately 4 hours, and then you will have the evening to hit the town all made-up and feeling gorgeous; plus, if taking place at the hotel, you will get full use of the hotel room for the evening / night and breakfast for up to 2 people in the morning! If you want we can even organize an Ann Summers rep to add to the fun and show you some lovely sexy lingerie to buy! Please note: a discount can be applied if taking place in your own home rather than the hotel.

What do you get from it?

The host (e.g. Hen / Birthday girl) will get a full professional hair and makeover and a complimentary 6”x6” accordion album containing 6 professional prints. Each guest will get a mini makeover plus one 5”x7” professional print to keep.

After the shoot each person will get her own private online viewing gallery with the option to buy digital files, albums, prints, and framed products etc. There is absolutely no obligation to buy more, but I hope that you’ll love your images so much you will want to!

How much does it cost?

Prices start from £75 per person based on 10 girls (although the less of you there are, the longer you each get with me for photos!). Cost varies depending on how many are attending and where it’s taking place, so please get in touch for a quote. A full Boudoir product and pricelist is available on request. When can you have a Boudoir Party?

Popular days are Fridays and Saturdays because you can then have a night out afterwards (Hotel de Vie is within short walking distance of Farnham town centre & train station) all glammed up and feeling gorgeous. These are the busiest days with the hotel, Ginny Marsh Photography and Natasha Wiggins Hair & Makeup so it’s important to book early to avoid disappointment (especially in wedding season!). Monday – Wednesday is less busy, so do get in touch even if it’s slightly last minute.

What do you wear?

You are allowed one outfit each for your mini boudoir session, and you can wear as little or as much as you feel comfortable. You don’t even have to do it in underwear if one of your group would rather wear a nice dress and treat it as a ‘beauty shoot’, it’s really quite flexible. The most important thing is that you feel glamorous and sexy. Usually the best option is to wear a fancy corset (which you can get for as little as £10 off eBay!) with some frilly knickers and stockings, which covers you up enough that you don’t feel like you’re bearing much flesh, but is sexy enough to make you feel empowered and look glamorous! Different styles to think about are Burlesque, pin-up, vintage or just glam and sexy. If you aren’t able to find anything to wear in time, we have a small boudoir wardrobe with various corsets and props that you are welcome to use!
