Claire and Seb’s Summer Wedding at Pembroke Lodge in Richmond Park, Surrey

Claire and Seb had a beautiful summer wedding at Pembroke Lodge in Richmond Park, Surrey, and it was absolutely beautiful weather to match. Unfortunately a few weeks before the wedding, Seb managed to have a little accident involving his bike and a car, and had his arm in a sling still! But he didn’t let it affect their day and it’s not obvious in the photos! Thank goodness it wasn’t any worse!

I had much fun working with the boys from Devoted Films, and we very much enjoyed the entertainment from the acoustic trio “Free to Roam”, who burst into song after the meal, and then followed the guests out into the garden, where they got them dancing around outside with their fun acoustic cover songs.

Most of all, the evening light was absolutely beautiful! We had pure sunshine, but because Pembroke Lodge is in such a beautiful area in Richmond Park, there’s plenty of places for beautiful photos.

Claire and Seb are such a lovely couple and I had a fantastic time capturing their day. I was also very pleased to see a familiar face from Darryl and Greg’s wedding, which I shot last year!

Claire says: “We are delighted with the photos thank you, such a fantastic mix of shots on such a fabulous day. We were so lucky with the weather, everything was like a dream. Apart from the gorgeous photos of family and friends Seb and I love the photos of us in the archway, I’m so glad we found it in the end. So many gorgeous little places to take shots.  I am blown away by the picture of me in black and white in the archway it worked out even better than I could have dreamed of.”

Pembroke Lodge is a magnificent listed Georgian Mansion that has been lovingly restored to provide public tearooms and first class facilities for weddings. The Lodge is situated at the highest point in Richmond Park with spectacular views over the Thames Valley to the west. Richmond Park is the largest, and to many, the most beautiful Park in London as it comprises of 2300 acres of totally unspoilt classic English parkland with some 650 deer who roam freely in this tranquil setting. Pembroke Lodge is set within 11 acres of beautifully landscaped grounds which are planted all year round.
