Helen & Gareth’s Elegant ‘Something Blue’ Summer Wedding at Farnham Castle

Helen and Gareth had a June wedding at Farnham Castle – a gorgeous Surrey wedding venue right on my doorstep, which I know very well. They had summer weather to match, as it was very warm and sunny all day. They had a very elegant navy blue theme, and Helen had gorgeous blue shoes to match, and as her ‘something blue’.

The day started with Gareth and the boys in The Nelson, a pub within walking distance just down the hill from the Castle, where I then went on to meet Helen and the girls in the Bridal Prep suite.

It was so lovely that Helen’s Dad used to be a registrar, and conducted the ceremony for them. They also had a beautiful Harpist playing. Gareth and his best men are actually in a band, so the speeches were also very musical, and Gareth serenaded Helen!

We went up to the Castle Keep just before sunset, which is the perfect time on a warm summer’s evening for some more photos 🙂
