Helen & Gareth’s Pre-wedding shoot, Farnham Park, Surrey
Helen and Gareth’s wedding was at Farnham Castle, so I suggested they have their pre-wedding / engagement photo shoot in Farnham Park, just next door, which historically is a 14th century deer park associated with the Castle.
I love Farnham Park and just the other side of the castle is the avenue of trees, which leads up to one of my favourite blue doors in the stone wall that surrounds the Castle. There are also lovely views of the old Castle Keep from that area of the park, so it all tied in nicely.
I love doing pre-wedding photo shoots, and think it’s so worthwhile if you don’t like having your photo taken, or have never had a good photo of yourselves. It’ll make you relax more on your wedding day once you’ve had a little practice at being in front of my camera (it’s really not as scary as you might think) and seen that actually we can get really good photos even if you do feel a little nervous! Plus it lets us get to know each other a bit more so that you’re even more relaxed in my company on your wedding day.
I took Helen and Gareth for a little walk down the avenue of trees and we generally just had a bit of a laugh ☺ They’re such a lovely couple!
