The Story of the Wedding Flowers | Blush Floral Design

I recently decided to do a blog on the story of the wedding flowers – how a bouquet is made, because Bex from Blush Floral Design is a very talented florist and I thought it would be a good idea to show off her talent. I’ve tried many a time to put together a nice bouquet or arrange some flowers in a vase, and can never make it look as good as Bex!

I went round to the Blush Floral Design headquaters in Farnham, Surrey, and photographed the process of Bex putting together one of the bouquets for our styled wedding shoot the following day (which took place at Farnham Castle – blog to follow separately).

I’m very pleased that my images have been featured on the ‘So You’re Getting Married‘ wedding blog, where you can read the full article here.

Bex used flowers that are currently really popular and in season:

Sweet Avalanche roses,
Cream Avalanche roses,
Apricot stocks,
Silver brunia,
Pastel pink ranunculus,
White tulips,
Rosemary

Here are the images I took that show the different stages of making a wedding bouquet…
