Claire & Jakes Glamorous Ivory Wedding at Farnham Castle, Surrey

Claire and Jake had a gorgeous July wedding at Farnham Castle…

We were there all day, from a couple of hours before the ceremony, to just after the first dance. I was very excited to be working with Charlie Davies, also based in Farnham, who was my second photographer for the day 🙂 Together we were able to get more photos of the guests having fun, have two different view points during the ceremony and speeches, and be in two places at once!

A glamorous wedding with white flowers, giant white balloons and dusky pink bridesmaids dresses…

Claire & Jake had a civil ceremony in the beautiful Lantern Hall. It was decorated with white Hydrangeas and Baby’s Breath flowers, ivory carpet runner down the aisle and white chair covers and white organza sashes. There were also two giant white balloons (which we had fun taking photos with!). It was all held at Farnham Castle in Surrey – a venue I know very well and live just round the corner from.

Claire’s dress was absolutely gorgeous…

It was altered to her specific requirements. It included lovely long lace sleeves, sweetheart off-the-shoulder neckline, a long train, and a beautiful long veil with lace edging. Claire had a beautiful bouquet made up of white Peonies, and the bridesmaids all had gorgeous simple white hydrangea bouquets.

We had perfect weather…

warm, with a slight cloud covering (perfect for photos!) and then sunshine in the evening. I took the Bride and Groom up to the Castle Keep for more photos before the first dance, and the light was just beautiful!
