The Happy couple…

Dani & Jonathon met at school and have been together ever since! They are both really creative as Dani works in PR and Jonathon for a creative company and their festival themed Wedding at Ridge Farm definitely reflected this!

The Venue… Ridge Farm Studios, Surrey

The ceremony was held at Rusper Church and then they went on to celebrate the reception at Ridge Farm.

Having a Wedding at Ridge Farm have become the talk of Surrey! It’s definitely the venue of choice in the South East for bespoke celebrations without the limitations and agendas of other, more traditional venues. Ridge Farm is a great venue for creative couples as you are allowing yourself the opportunity to hold a truly unique event for up to 150 guests. Exclusive use of the farmhouse, pool house and grounds for the whole weekend and with no compulsory extras, leaves you free to create your event the way you wish. Making it great for this festival themed wedding!

Another great part of the package for a Wedding at Ridge Farm offers is that you have three days at your disposal. Meaning guests and newlyweds can enjoy time and space to ensure they share their celebration with all their family and friends, with no rush to set up or take down decorations after the wedding.

Plus, it’s been home to many famous bands and artists, who have recorded their albums here in the old recording studios, including Pearl Jam, Oasis, Muse, Ozzy Ozbourne, and Queen.

Wedding theme… Rustic Festival theme complete with a Giant Black board photo booth!

Dani & Jonathon had a formal church wedding followed by fun, rustic and relaxed festival wedding reception in Surrey. This was decorated DIY style with friends and family helping to make and design a lot of their decorations. Their theme was heavily influenced with nature, beautiful flowers and candles on the tables and hints of florals everywhere.

The bouquets and tables were decorated with Spring wildflowers (mainly light pink with green, whites and yellows).

They also had Jonathon’s precious mini as their wedding car!

Highlight of the day

Definitely had to be the glorious weather and the band were great too! It was personally all a highlight for me, because I know the venue so well – Ridge Farm is also home to “The Photography Farm”, where I’ve taken part in quite a few training days over the years. Also it’s where my little sister got married, so it just feels like home to me.

I hope to photograph many more weddings at this gorgeous venue!
