Natasha & Shain’s Military Wedding in Aldershot, Hampshire

It was such a pleasure to photograph Natasha and Shain’s wedding. The ceremony took place at the Royal Garrison Church in Aldershot, which is the ‘home’ church for the Anglican military personnel serving in Aldershot, and Shain and his best man looked so smart in full Military uniform. Then it was on to the reception at The Village Hotel in Farnborough for a big party!

The Village Hotel offers quite a few lovely spots for photos, and I loved the old airship hanger within walking distance, that has been turned into a garden and walkway for the surrounding buildings. The hotel itself also has the restaurant area that is closed mid-afternoon, so we had the whole room to ourselves! Perfect spot if it happens to be raining.

This was the first wedding I decided to try out my new skills at making a video fusion slideshow, by filming little movie clips throughout the day (somehow I did this as well as taking photos at the same time!) so Natasha and Shain were in for a treat! The ceremony was held at The Royal Garrison Church of All Saints, which was consecrated in 1863 and although it is where military personnel come to be married, for baptisms or funerals, it is open to everyone.

The reception was held at the modern luxury hotel The Village Hotel, Farnborough
