A Spring Farnham Castle Wedding with a Movie Theme – Sam & Dan

The Happy Couple…

First of all, I met Sam and Dan at a wedding fair at the Guildford Harbour Hotel (former Radisson Blu). They were there with their friends, who are also getting married, Abbie and Ollie. Ollie was Dan’s best man 🙂 Luckily we all hit it off so well that Abbie and Ollie also booked me! I’ll be photographing their wedding later this year! This is more about the day of a brilliant Farnham Castle wedding.

The Big proposal..

Daniel is a Construction project manager and also has a strong hobby as an artist/illustrator. Samantha is a Lingerie & Sports Designer for a large supplier in North London. Dan proposed to Sam at a spa in Woburn and was done on the balcony after a lovely time spent relaxing and enjoy our day. Afterwards they drank champagne and watched the sunset. Ahhhh 🙂

The Venue… Farnham Castle, Surrey

Highlight of the day…

The weather made it a very eventful day! It was very unpredictable and started to spit with rain! Just as I was about to take the Bride and Groom off, for their portrait session…  Together with the wind, we were lucky we made it back in one piece! Luckily we were able to seek some shelter under the beautiful avenue of trees in Farnham Park.  It’s definitely the most beautiful at this time of year. We then carried on inside the beautiful castle. Furthermore, this is why Farnham Castle weddings are great because Farnham Castle is the sort of venue that it really doesn’t matter what the weather is like, there are lots of great places for photos come rain or shine!

I love photographing weddings at Farnham Castle, they have the added touches from the magical castle setting.
