My Top 5 Tips To Help You Accomplish Your Life Goals!

Have you got life goals that seem to be impossible to achieve right now?…

Going after what you want can seem very daunting ( I know)! However, it can be easy if you really work for it. Quite often we make it much harder for ourselves to achieve and finish things than it needs to be. If you can imagine you completing your life goals and feeling fulfilled, then just go after it! Having the confidence really helps.

So here are my top tips to help you get over the hiccups and get you well on your way to achieving what you really want for yourself!

1. Decide what you want…

For some of us this will be really easy and others this will be pretty hard. This is because, in order to know what you want, you have to know who you are and your deepest dreams and aspirations.  If you are getting stuck on this part, look at tip 2 and then come back to it when you’re ready.

If you know what you want, write it down as if you have already done it. Then try putting it somewhere you can read it every morning and night.  When I decided to rebrand at the end of last year, I didn’t have a plan at first but, I started talking about it and before I knew it I had different people who wanted to help me to build and design, a custom new logo and website that I am over the moon with. What really helped me was a personal trip to a yoga retreat in Bali, where I really found myself and discovered more of what I love!

2. Remember you are worthy of everything and anything…

Beauty Begins the moment you decide to be yourself

Noone is perfect. We all have pasts and have made mistakes, but at the end of the day, we are our own worst critic. Do not settle for anything less than magical. If your dream of all dreams is to live in a small town on a quiet farm surrounded by friends and family and nature, live it and let your best life shine! Does your dream involve leaving your 9 to 5 to set up your own couture clothing line finally? Then do it! If your dream is to help people live their best life, then do it! We all have a purpose and a place that makes us happy and helps us feel fulfilled. What really helps is having a supportive networking group, who can help you find people to help with whatever you need. There are loads of local groups of like-minded people who you can now find online.

3. Ignore the negativity…

Most of us have main goals or dreams that we keep hidden away because somewhere along the line someone told us it was too much, too big, too crazy to accomplish. You have to remember that the only real failure is never trying. Maybe it is too much or too big, but we will never know until we try. We also need to learn from our mistakes to become stronger 🙂

4. Don’t Forget to ask for help!

We all have friends, colleagues, and family that want to see us succeed (if you don’t have those relationships then skip this step and go start offering help to others and see what comes of it!). Often when we are getting ready to do something or make a move we do so in secret. It is very important to protect your ideas and not go spreading them around too soon.  Just remember that we never truly do anything by ourselves, and as you break your main goals into smaller, easy to manage steps and put it back together, ask for help from those you trust. Let them help you build it up strong and work out the kinks.  Sometimes “best friend” is code for “beta tester”.

5. Believe in what you have achieved so far…

Try writing down ALL of your achievements. Only then will you start to see and believe what you’ve already achieved.

Believing in what you can achieve can be tough for some of us, because sometimes with big life goals, come big responsibilities. Sometimes those responsibilities can feel a little constrictive or uncomfortable.  Just remember that whether you are a student or teacher in your new venture, that the learning never stops no matter which role or side you are on. Being an expert is great but since knowledge is often a matter of opinion, we have to learn to not be blindsided in our advice to others. So always keep learning, keep growing and keep exploring your passions because they can change too.

Life is too short not to be ridiculously happy and live the life you want. If you are not living your best life or loving the life you lead, you have the power to change it.
